Ready in minutes this spicy baked shrimp recipe is very tasty. Low in fat, high in protein and natural vitamins, enjoy this healthy treat.
1 pound shrimp, (26 to 30 per pound) with peel preferred
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Heat the oven to 400° F and set the rack in the middle.
Prepare a 8 x 8 x 2-inch glass baking dish (2 quart).
Mix or grind the spices in a small mixing bowl.
Pour frozen shrimp into the glass baking dish. Rinse and drain off the water. Microwave for 6 minutes. Drain off the liquid.
Drizzle olive oil over the shrimp and mix carefully. Pour in the spices and mix until well combined.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve on a bed of greens.
