Coffee hot brewed with a glass press tastes best. The press works without a paper filter and overheating the precious bean. To brew coffee without a press, dump fresh ground coffee beans into a 2-cup glass measuring cup filled with hot water, rest for a minute or two and pour through a very fine strainer. Simply delicious.
Ingredients
1/3 cup of whole coffee beans, finely ground
2 cups water, heated just below the boiling point
Dump the ground coffee beans into the French press. Pour in the hot water. Wait 2 minutes and push the ground beans to the bottom of the press.
Yield: 2 cups. Serve immediately.
